Welcome!

by
Warm Kitchen, warm heart

I’m so glad that you are here! I have created this website to be as kind and welcoming as the warmth of my kitchen. And now I’m opening my kitchen up to you. Do What Ema Says is a Food Blog written for chefs and home cooks with a discriminating palate and sensible budget. I write global recipes to warm the home focusing on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern spices. I invite you to be a part of this quirky community of foodies who enjoy bold flavors and global spices and love to talk food. My food is abundant and served family-style in heaping piles. You are welcome at this table.

I’ll post pictures of food just about everyday on my Instagram page, Do_What_Ema_Says. Each week I’ll post new recipes on dowhatemasays.com. Please subscribe so that you can get weekly emails alerting you when a new recipe is up on the blog. And I’ll try to get posts up on Facebook, too. I’m really friendly, so please let me know what you are liking, what you want more of, and what needs to be tweaked. I’m working on letting go of the need to have it all be perfect before I let you see it, and I’m working on telling myself that good enough really is good enough.

By the way, you are good enough, too, lovelies!

Bring bold flavors, welcome every guest, heap on the hugs and be kind to yourselves. Do What Ema Says.

xoxo
